Preparing to welcome your new puppy home can be quite overwhelming! So we put together a small list of recommendations and favourites to help take away the stress of “ do I have everything I need “
Feeding a good quality food is a must to sustain a healthy growth pattern as well as keeping up with good gut health and bone density.
There are lots of good food out there on the market but our top choice is Purina Pro Plan as they are vet recommended and meet all the requirements and guidelines for WSAVA
In our opinion vitamins are another must have for your new furry friends daily routine, puppies immune systems are at risk as they start to journey into the big world! vitamins work great to give them that extra boost and over all GI health.
Fish / salmon oil can add healthy Omega 3 to your puppy’s diet well helping keep a beautiful shinny coat
We have tried all the treats under the sun and always find ourself running back to freeze dried dog treats, in our opinion you just can’t go wrong! Some of our favourites to use are beef liver and salmon
We always recommend crate training to all new puppy parents, when bringing your new puppy home we recommend continuing crate training from day 1. Having your puppy in a crate doesn’t always have to be looked at in a bad way!! crates are a must have for training! it’s a safe place for your new puppy to sleep in at night as we all know puppy’s are curious and get into everything when we aren’t around, it’s also a huge tool for potty training your new puppy
You can’t go wrong with having a box of pee pads around , they come in handy for the bottom of the crate or in the car
Puppy shampoos , ear cleaners & nail clippers is a must have to up keep a happy healthy puppy
